It can’t be THAT horrible if she ripped her face apart, can see her mouth and eyes, and the crew can see the shard. It might be like Harvey Dent’s face when it was burnt or something :S
It didn’t have to be the worst thing imaginable for it to work. It just had to be horrible enough for the rest of the Commedia to believe it best to leave their masks on.
But pain offered as a sacrifice for power… Pretty strong stuff. And, if Vogue made the offering with deliberate forethought and with full acceptance of the price she was paying, instead of as an act of madness, then the sacrifice becomes all that more powerful.
Interesting how their fear of her face is keeping them from noticing the bloody mirror shard she brought out with her for whatever reason that implies the truth of the situation. Not that they will most likely notice or make the connection themselves, focused as they are on their own fears, but still interesting.
Will we see her, er, pretty face at some point later or will it remain a mystery reserved for our imagination? 🙂
Sonny will probably hide it from us for as long as possible to troll us.
If you want to see her face, look on the floor.
nice one

True and it makes sense, presentation is crucial and influential
Guess that’s truth in farce. If the truth is not what you expected make it the way you want… or whatever.
Must hurt!

Bingo…I’ve said it before, never count Vogue out
Uh? What’s the point of power if you don’t get anything nice from it (like beauty and lack of pain)? Power alone is pointless.

Oh, Vogue. Such a mental-but we love you anyway 🙂
