I still tend to wonder if I should regard James as a separate person. He believed himself to be human, and he’d gotten a number-crunching job that would require skills that I don’t think would be very common in Faerie.
I am well into book 3. The first 20 pages will be available for purchase soon in comic book format. It will be $5 and it’s called “The Secret Origins of Goat.” It is also the first chapter of We Shadows III.
On James…to me it seems logical that a faerie subconscious trying desperately to forget his past would choose a field that would be the polar opposite of what one would consider a faerie career. If he had chosen, say, a ballet dancing career…the movements, costumes, glamour and the general fabulosity of it all would be too many triggers to his memory.
Oh…whoops! Yeah, I’ve been working hard on book 3 at night then I have to post book 2 in the morning. I’m surprised that this is the first time that’s happened.

Excellent work, Mr. Strait! Compelling art and an intriguing story; I’m adding We Shadows to my list of webcomics followed on a regular basis.
