Its not like the mask makes you ugly while youre wearing it. The neko and the blonde were pretty cute with their masks on. Just be the better henchman and get to keep wearing it… and breathing.
I’ve thought about this a while and I’d have to agree with you. Depending on what is offered I might be swayed to take the deal. I think they look pretty cool in the masks. I mean, wear the form fitting Commedia mask forever and receive super-powers to me sounds awesome.
I can’t help but imagine that the six pannels previous to when she starts talking, that there is total irrelevant banter going on in her head. A la Did I forget to floss this morning, my nose itches, and then oh yeah, big plot point decision here.
On a side note I like how the mask immediately changes to her facial expressions in the last panel, even with the arching brows so different than the base one on the unworn mask.
I’d make the same choice, beauty is skin-deep and shallow. Power is rare.
We finally find the woman behind the mask at last (so to speak), just like in the cave with the alternate versions and stuff, right? 😛
