Chill girl, Commedia wasn’t in vogue anymore, just find the next popular power before anyone else does.

She occasionally freaks but always gets back on track.

Her name is Vogue, kind of a hint that she’s a fashion-focused-fae. Heh, alliteration.

Yep…all the Glamour Gloms are named after fashion magazines. Cosmo, Vogue, Elle, Details..

Now, seriously, did that help matters any? Take a deep breath, Vogue, muster your resentment, and go kick some righteous butt; it’s a much better release.

Oh you know, Vogue, she never loses composure for long.

In a world of true magic and of every type and mythology… breaking a mirror sounds like a very bad idea. Didn’t go well for Tony in the 10th kingdom that’s for sure.

BTW: Go Watch 10th Kingdom, awesome miniseries.

Er, will someone explain to me why she simply can’t put it on again…?

Its not about the mask. the mask doesn’t do anything, its about the irony that they don’t take it off because they think it will make them ugly when in fact it wont. Its like Concept Magic, the very idea and irony of the situation holds great power.

Indeed, to put a phrase or two to the masks, they are effectively placebos of power, a physical embodiment of the phrase, “I think, therefore I am.” Like the loss of innocence, you can never return to the way you were before.

So they were all powerful all long, they just needed to believe it?
I’d still believe it, after that…

Mr Grin and Radiovid- well put, guys.

Glass- I do believe there are beings that can continue after belief is gone but they are rare (suffice to say, Vogue is not one of them…but never rule her out). It’s like the biblical story of Peter walking on the water to meet Jesus. He did fine until he looked down…that’s when the sinking began.

Or any given cartoon character can run on air until they look down.

Right now, somewhere in the multiverse, Keshi just had a phantom laugh.
