Hmm. Not sure how I feel about our Thunder God, drinker of the ocean, battler of the Midgard Serpent, being beaten, decapitated, and having his hammer stolen, off-panel.
Truly, Vogue has absolutely no respect. Certainly shows the power of the masks though. To defeat, arguably the most powerful god in mythdom so easily and (as you say) off panel even!
I gotta say if I was ever to root for the bad guys these guys would win for sheer panache. And to point out that vague technically should not be able to wield what I assume to be Thor’s Hammer: Mjölnir. But she gets away with it on sheer badassery.
Well, Mjölnir (however you spell it) *was* stolen by the Jotuns once, to be returned only if the fair Freya offered her hand in marriage. When big, burly, bearded Thor disguised himself as Freya, whoever came up with these stories proved that they were not without humour. 🙂
I’m no expert in Norse mythology, but I think it was Loki’s idea in the first place. The Aesir did rely on his skills to trick their enemies several times, until he got Balder killed.

No sense of style at all.
By Thor’s Balls…
I think you just made my day.
Very last minute choice. Originally it was “By Odin’s good eye” then I figured “what the hell”

Sounds like Thor had a bit of Loki in him

It’s nice to know he’s useful as well as crafty
Welp, unless Odin’s rune magic or Tyr’s and Magni’s fury prove rather more potent then the might of Thor, the Norse are well and truly boned.
I would think that if it’s that easy to take Thor’s hammer then ALL of the gods would be in trouble
Love it HAhaahaahaha!
I wish I had friends like them… 😛
