Faerie Rings are really interesting phenomena. They can do all sorts of things depending on the story, but two things I remember. Faerie rings can often be found in places where worlds intersect, sometimes allowing travel between planes. And if you stay in them too long you can go stark raving mad. Interestingly, in the story I remember this from: The first led to the latter, leaving someone mad as a Hatter.
I am curious to see what is dug up. From what I am seeing there are two old pucks: the mortal half and the faerie half. The one we know of better, Robin, was the mortal half who was slowly losing his grip on the grim reality around him and starting to get in touch with his faerie side subconsciously. While the opposite is true of the warrior ex Puck who was slowly getting bogged down by the sense of immortality and his lengthy past and slowly falling into touch with the depressed state of his mortal half. I believe what will be found in the grave will the merger of the two from different worlds as the faerie ring connects them.
They find a post Beatles Paul McCartney record called “Pipes of Peace.” They listen to it because, well, it is Paul. After the 3rd listen they decide it’s rubbish and bury it again.
If they’re in the human world, can people notice that Bottom has a donkey’s face or is there a magic-illusion-thingie?
Also, if a Faerie Ring causes madness, does that explain Goodfellow’s amnesia and insanity?
I am sure there’s a magic-illusion-thingie but part of me likes to think that Bottom’s doing the best he can and the rest don’t have the heart to tell him
Oookay… don’t tell me… so a faerie buried in a faerie ring comes back to life? And Bottom didn’t know? Maybe it’s not his head only? XD

Seems reasonable

Man, I feel really silly for just going “This is really pretty art and a nice story now.”
Y’all are so dang clever.
Very much appreciated
