    Bring on the rhymes!
    They herald good times!

    I don’t think this ass
    need fear Pucks sass.

    She may fire her gun,
    that will be fun
    as yonder equine
    will look just fine.

    The truth holds no fear
for those, uhm, who likes beer.

OK, I give up. I will plead that English is not my native language.

I love this story. I think I will have to look up Shakespeare’s original some day. (Not today, not tomorrow, but *some* day)

Well, you don’t need to know Will’s original to understand this story but it will enhance your enjoyment…then again, you could just rent to movie

perhaps bottom should have lead in with how he was her predecessor’s friend for quite some time, close enough that Puck asked him to kill him

If he is a man…if he is male he will talk about his glorious conquests in battle and how his enemies even fear to speak his name… then talk about his depressed bald friend. There are ladies to impress and an order to which these things must be impressed by his muscles and good donkey looks.

I really don’t know A Midsummer Night’s Dream good enough either, but I do know that in the play, Bottom is an actor who gets the head of an ass *by* Robin Goodfellow. The spell is lifted at the end of the play. Yet this version looks like an ass again, and is best friends with Robin Goodfellow (killing him or not). How the two are related I don’t know, but I expect that the firing of the gun will shed some light.

However, since the gun doesn’t need to be pointed at the target to work, I am not sure that this is a good idea for either Cosmo or Goat.

Now, if I only had the skill to write that in iambic pentameter.

    He’s very smart isn’t he.
“Hi, nice to meet you, I killed you in your previous life. Wanna be friends?”

Because as we all know. Best way to get reliable and honest information is to put a gun to someone’s face. Which is true in this sense since the gun is non-lethal and instead forces people to tell the truth.
